Styles&Wood's StoreData team has been chosen by Nationwide's Business Services Department to help run their retail property portfolio, which spans over 750 branches and 20 regional offices and support centres. They are transforming their technical-based departmental structure into a small group focused on value creation, performance and customer satisfaction. This will require more support from key strategic suppliers.
Tim Plummer, Director of Property at Nationwide explains: "We have to have the right structure, process and information that ensures we are maximising every square foot, whilst providing the highest quality trading environment possible".
StoreData was selected for its retail property expertise, systems delivery track record, and 'Simpler Property' system, a comprehensive, flexible, out-of-the-box product which is simple and easy to use.
Martin Ward, Head of StoreData, comments: "It's always beneficial to get engaged early on in the process. We are as much about business change as we are about developing property software. Nationwide is following an industry trend and their approach, intellect and openness has been extremely refreshing".
StoreData worked closely with the client to create a bespoke 'data hub', giving the team relevant and accurate data as and when they need it.
Steve Head, Support Service Director, sums up:
"The data hub will provide us with a single source of management information across our entire portfolio - what's happening, how we are performing, and what corrective action we need to take. The solution will also provide the sole repository for all record information and legislative documentation"
