We measure our business performance each year against the UK Business Excellence Model. We are winners of the UK Business Excellence Award for Leadership.

Business in the Community

We entered the Business in the Community Corporate Responsibility Index for the first time in 2005 and achieved a score of 62.5%, ranking first place in the North West Region. Our score for 2006 rose to 69.5% and in 2007/2008 we were awarded the Business in the Community Big Tick Award in recognition of our community engagement.

UK Best Companies

We participate in the UK Best Companies Survey, we were selected as one of The Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work for in 2006 and in 2007 were selected by UK Best Companies as a "Best Place to Work" company.
