Integrated property services and project delivery specialist Styles&Wood has been appointed by easyHotel, the fast-growing ‘super budget’ hotel brand, to deliver the
fit-out of two new hotels in the North West.

As easyHotel continues its expansion into major regional UK cities, Styles&Wood’s projects team will deliver the full internal strip-out and refurbishment of a vacant six-storey site on Castle Street, Liverpool, to create a 70-bed hotel, and a Grade II-listed, five-storey building on Dale Street, Manchester, to create a 115-bed hotel. The works across both properties will include the creation of a modern reception and back of house areas.

Gideon Levene, head of projects at Styles&Wood, said: “Tourism in the North West is thriving. Cities such as Liverpool and Manchester are continuing to attract high numbers of visitors, who visit for both leisure and business, and as a result demand for hotel space is high. easyHotel is a strong brand and with new premises in 2 key North West locations they will be able to tap into the budget end of the market – attracting those looking for a clean and comfortable, but low-cost, room in a central location.”

This appointment follows a string of successful projects across the hospitality and leisure sector, which in the last 12 months have seen Styles&Wood deliver the £2.4m refurbishment of Pier Eight, the new restaurant at The Lowry in Salford Quays, in addition to a number of luxury hotel and restaurant refurbishments in the United Arab Emirates.

Levene added: “Our teams have a great deal of experience working globally in the hospitality and leisure sectors, particularly across a number of high-profile hotels in Dubai, and we’re looking forward to supporting easyHotel as it embarks on this new venture.”

Styles&Wood posted an 18 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue to £115m in its latest annual results for the year ending 31 December 2015, highlighting the success of the group’s diversification strategy as the foundation of its success.
